Why Carve Culture?

Do you find yourself wanting to try things, but not always knowing where to start?

I'm Kassie and I know that I felt that way.

After working at a ski resort, and experiencing the joys of ski season as an employee, I found myself wanting to create a winter sports blog.
While I was lightly trained in the sport by my die hard (and extremely skilled) extended family, I don't claim to be a master like they are. I didn't get much practice skiing until I worked at Brianhead Resort in Cedar City UT during the 2020 winter season.

My husband, Dylan on the other hand is an experienced snowboarder, the kind who jumps off cliffs.

I often find myself following him into unknown, and incredibly beautiful terrain.

Once we started hitting the slopes together, him on his board, and me strapped into a pair of skies (after finally getting those ski boots on) the idea of a skiing and snowboarding account really resonated with me.

A blog that is both inclusive to those who are just starting the sport and want to know more, that at the same time creates content that is relevant to experienced riders.

Our hope for Carve Culture is that it leads others to experience the joy, adrenaline, and peace of mind that skiing/snowboarding has leant us. So feel free to follow us and find yourself always looking forward to the snow!
